THOMAS SABO celebrates New counter & officially launches New beauty collection to Ireland with a special party!

On Thursday 4th November, THOMAS SABO hoseted a party to celebrate their New counter and the presentation of the first ever THOMAS SABO fragrance "Charm Rose", at House of Fraser, Dundrum Town Centre.

Invited guests were privy to a spectacular evening of entertainment, music, and magic, with a splash of Romance! Special features on the night included three live models styled as icons Marilyn Monroe (Nadia Forde), Audrey Hepburn (Christina Toal) and Brigitte Bardot (Vogue Wilson), a black carpet, a 4ft high Eiffel Tower ice-sculpture, a branded vintage Fiat car and a dramatic gazebo adorned in the signature THOMAS SABO black and white stripes.

The fabulous jazz and blues singer Sharon Crosbie charmed the crowd, creating an atmosphere of glamour and romance with her rendition of all times classics, "La vie en rose" and "Diamonds are a girls best friend". Magician Shane Black mingled through the crowd with his mesmerizing card and mind reading tricks bringing guests together.

THOMAS SABO special guest on the night was the wonderful Irish actress and journalist Holly White, who stood along to celebrate this special event.

Also a bevy of local celebrities including The Coronas, Andrea Roche and Rob White came along to celebrate this special event.

MTV Europe Music Awards sees Eva Longoria Parker take to the stage..

Presented by Eva Longoria Parker, the MTV Europe Music Awards took place on the 7th November in Madrid, Spain.
Lady Gaga, the meat-dress queen, won big again, bagging herself three trophies. Although she was not there in person, she popped up via digital screen from Hungary to accept these awards. Her Number 1 hit single, "Bad Romance" saw her winning Best Song, while also securing a trophy for Best Female and Best Pop.
Katy Perry saw herself being kicked off the throne this year by Eva Longoria Parker, as Perry hosted the EMA's two years consecutively. Nonetheless, she hit the red carpet with new hubby Russell Brand in their first post-wedding appearence as husband and wife. Later, she took the stage in a shimmery catsuit performing her new hit single "Firework". She also saw herself winning a trophy for Best Video for her song "California Girls". We have to agree- it was quite eccentric!
16-year-old, Justin Bieber, took to the stage accepting two trophies for Best Male and Best Push Act. Fair play to young Bieber- from being found on Youtube in 2008, to winning two trophies at the EMA's in 2010- he's doing well for himself!
Other awards included: Best Hip Hop- Eminem, Best New Act- Kesha, Best Rock- 30 Seconds to Mars, Best Alternative- Paramore. Best Live Act- Linkin Park, Best World Stage Performance- Tokio Hotel.

Aisling meets Jedward

After weeks of trying to track down Jedward for a photo call , Aisling finally met with them accidentally in our local Spar in Monkstown. Aisling was lucky enough to get her own photo call with Jedward. On top of this Jedward also paid for her loaf of bread and gave her a signed autograph.

The X Factor stars were rushing off to Belfast for an appearance and decided to pop into Spar to get some sweets for the trip and ended up chatting with Aisling who asked them for the quick photo.

Revolve comes close at the SFA awards!

Recently the Revolve team attended the SFA awards in Trinity College Dublin. The awards ceremony paid tribute to small businesses in Ireland and was hosted by An Taoiseach, Brian Cowen. Revolve itself was chosen as a finalist in the most outstanding small business category for the Small Firms Association. Unfortunately this year we did not pick up the prestigious accolade but Revolve has vowed to come back again next year and win the top prize.

The top prize this year went to Glenisk Ltd.
