Too busy juggling your life to think about what you are not getting from your diet?

Spatone Apple is a unique natural liquid iron supplement with added Vitamin C#. Its great tasting, no need to mix apple flavour means you can carry it with you in your handbag or keep a supply at work, ready to take a shot when you need it.
Iron is an essential mineral required to transport oxygen around the body and support energy release. Iron also plays a key role in helping to maintain a healthy immune system and sustain concentration levels. Initial iron deficiency symptoms can include fatigue, general lack of energy and decreased ability to concentrate. At times when the body has an increased demand for iron or when your diet does not provide you with all the iron you need, Spatone Apple can be beneficial. A dietary survey carried out in Ireland found that 48% of Irish women aged between 18-50 years had inadequate iron intakes, with one in three Irish women having inadequate iron intakes, with one in three Irish women having inadequate iron stores, and one in thirty having iron deficiency anaemia.
Spatone Apple contains spa water sourced from the Welsh mountains of Snowdonia National Park - which can help top up your iron levels. Spatone Apple provides iron with no unpleasant side effects often experienced with conventional iron supplements. Generally, iron is a very difficult mineral for the body to absorb. However, the iron naturally present in Spatone has been shown to be easily absorbed, with up to 40% bioavailability, compared to 5-20% from food and other iron supplements. The additional Vitamin C in Spatone Apple helps you to absorb iron.
Spatone Apple is available at all leading pharmacies and health stores nationwide

Less Stress More Success with Bach Rescue Remedy

For all the emotional demands that stress brings at exam time, get your hands on Bach Rescue Remedy. Bach Rescue Remedy helps you to relax, get focused and feel calm throughout your exams. Taken anytime, anywhere Rescue Remedy is totally natural and contains 5 of the 38 Bach ® Flower Essences:

  • Rock Rose - for terror and panic
  • Impatiens - for irritation and impatience
  • Clematis - for inattentiveness
  • Star of Bethlehem - for shock
  • Cherry Plum - for irrational thoughts

While it won’t give you all the answers, it will calm and reassure to combat the dreaded nerves.

Exams are a time when stress levels are higher than usual. Stress can be positive; helping you to stay motivated and focused. However, too much stress can be unhelpful - it can make you feel overwhelmed, confused, exhausted and edgy. It's important to try and keep things in perspective and find ways of reducing stress if things seem to be getting on top of you.

Most students’ reach for junk food that doesn’t help with revision in the long term as it will only give the crammer a short burst of energy and concentration. It’s very easy to recommend that students get enough sleep, eat healthily and drink plenty of water, but in the real world, students should keep Rescue Remedy close to hand for when they are feeling text-book tension!

Spatone - Iron for Mum's to be!

Iron is a vital mineral during pregnancy with the developing baby solely depending on its mother's supplies. Spatone a 100% natural iron supplement; has been shown to be easily absorbed, with up to 40% bioavailability, compared to 5-20% from food and other iron supplements. Thanks tpo Spatone's high absorbtion rate you shouldn't experience any unpleasant side-effects but still supply your body with sufficient amounts of iron for you and your growing baby.

Unlike conventional iron supplements, Spatone has been scientifically shown to help prevent iron deficiency during pregnancy whilst being extra gentle on the stomach.

During pregnancy iron is crucial: Here's Why;

- The amount of blood in your body increases during pregnancy until you have almost 50% more blood than usual, so you need more iron to make more haemoglobin.
- You need extra iron for your growing baby and placenta, especially in the second and third trimesters.
- Many women need more because they start their pregnancy with insufficient stores of iron.
- Iron-deficiency anaemia during pregnancy is associated with preterm delivery, low birth weight, and infant.

Spatone is available from all leading pharmacies and health stores nationwide

Apple Smashes iPhone and iPad Sales Records

Apple has beaten profit expectations for the three months to the end of June, thanks to big increases in iPhone and iPad sales. The Californian-based company sold a record 20.3 million iPhones over the quater, a rise of 140% on the same period a year ago, and a record 9.25 million iPads, up 183%.

Apple also saw sales of its Macs increase albeit by a much more modest 14%.
"We're thrilled to deliver our best quater ever, with revenue up 82% and profits up 125%, said Steve Jobs Apples Cheif Executive.

However, in the UK and several other countries, figures show Android-based smartphones - which tend to be cheaper than the iPhone - are selling faster than Apples hit products!

Twitter

The power of Twitter was evident yesterday when a certain couple posted a photo of their newborn daughter on the micro-blogging site. Victoria Beckham tweeted a photo of her husband David giving their newborn daughter, Harper Seven, an eskimo kiss with the caption 'Daddy's little girl'. Within minutes the snap had been retweeted by thousands of users across the world. While we don't have the exact figure of how many times the photo was retweeted below are a few more interesting statistics about Twitter:

  • Twitter celebrated its fifth birthday last week

  • The first ever tweet was an automated would and said "just setting up my twttr"

  • The first ever human tweet was by founder Jack Dorsey and said "inviting coworkers"

  • Over a billion tweets worldwide are sent each week

  • Approx 460,000 new Twitter accounts are set up every day

  • There are an estimated 250,000 users in Ireland

  • On the day that Michael Jackson died 456 tweets per second were sent

Interactive Marketing Campaigns

One of the most successful interactive marketing campaigns in recent years is the 'Hunter Shoots a Bear' campaign for Tipp-Ex, the correction fluid. You may well ask what connection does a video of a hunter shooting a bear have to do with correction fluid. We wondered the same thing. The makers of Tipp-Ex uploaded a video to YouTube of a hunter supposedly about to shoot a bear. The video gets interesting, however, when the hunter refuses to do this. He instead reaches out of the video on the page, grabs a bottle of Tipp-Ex and covers over the word 'shoots' in the title. The user can then replace the word with one of their own and check out the hunter and bear carrying out whatever action they have chosen. The fun is also in seeing whether or not the suggestion works. At the time of writing this the video has had nearly seventeen and a half millions views on YouTube, making it the most successful viral marketing campaign. Check out the video at http://bit.ly/a9CqLH

Another recent successful interactive marketing campaign in the Irish market is the 'Bud ice cold index'. Participants downloaded an app to their smartphone. Then, if the temperature is between 16 and 19 degrees they could avail of a discounted pint of Budweiser. If the temperature is above 20 degrees they could receive a free pint. The success of this campaign won DDB UK a Lion in the Promo & Activation category at this year's Cannes Festival of Creativity. Publicans were also pleased with the campaign because it increased footfall into their premises without it costing them.

Considering the success of both of these campaigns, we believe that interactive marketing campaigns will become more and more popular from here on. We wonder what brands will be next to use such campaigns and what they will entail.

We're all really excited here in the Revolve office about the arrival of Google+ which was launched yesterday. Google+ is perhaps the biggest threat to Facebook since the popularity of social netorking began in the last decade.

One of the main features of Google+ is 'Circles', where you can add your friends, family, etc to different circles/groups. Google believes that this feature will make it easier to manage your different groups and also control who sees what of your content.

Another feature we really like is 'Hangouts'. "Everyone has high-speed networks these days, but how many use group video chat?" Vic Gundotra of Google says. Hangouts will solve this problem by allowing up to ten people from a Circle all video chat at once. If you are already chatting with a friend in a Circle, all other members of that Circle will get an alert asking them to 'hang out' and join in. This could be a great way for friends living in different countries to all chat at once we think.

Of course there will be many more features to Google+. At the moment Google are testing it out with a select number of users before launching it across the board. Social networking has obviously had a huge impact on the PR industry over the last few years. We're wondering what effect Google+ will now have?

Revolve's Top Ten Festival Survival Must-Haves

Festival season is upon us! Whether you're going to Glastonbury this weekend, Oxegen in a few weeks, Electric Picnic in September or one of the many other festivals around the country this summer, we have devised a Top Ten of Festival Survival Must-Haves to see you through your festival experience.

Cath Kidston Tent
Most importantly you'll need a tent! This unique and stylish tent by Cath Kidston will make you stand out in the campsite and ensure you'll easily find your way back to it after a music-filled day.

Cath Kidston Sleeping Bag
This stylish sleeping bag, also by Cath Kidston, will keep you all wrapped up and warm and prepare you for another action packed day of your favourite bands and artists.

Cath Kidston Cagoule Raincoat
We're hoping you won't have to use it, but just to be on the safe side we recommend this Cath Kidston raincoat that folds up into a handy bag when you're not using it.

Cath Kidston Straw Hat
The sun is what we want at any festival, so to protect yourself and look stylish at the same time we suggest this great Cath Kidston straw hat. The bright, fashionable colour band will make sure you stand out from your fellow festival-goers.

Green People SPF15 and Burt's Bees SPF8 Lip Balm
Protecting your skin and lips from the sun is essential so we recommend you pack some Green People SPF15 and Burt's Bees SPF8 Lip Balm to ensure that too much sun doesn't ruin your festival fun.

AnneMarie Boland After Sun Gel
But in case you forget to use your sun factor or lip balm we suggest you throw some AnneMarie Boland After Sun Gel in your bag. The cooling gel will soothe any sunburn and make sure you'll still be up and about dancing to your favourite bands.

Pure & Clear Facial Wipes and Burt's Bees Hand Sanitizer
We all know what it's like at a festival when it comes to showering, etc. That's why we recommend you pack these two essentials. Pure & Clear Facial Wipes and Burt's Bees Hand Sanitizer will allow you wash away any dirt and have you feeling fresh and clean in no time.

Nelson's Pharmacy Milk Thistle Tincture
Finally because we know any festival includes a certain amount of overindulgence we suggest you have some Milk Thistle Tincture from Nelson's Pharmacy with you. Milk Thistle is one of the best liver regenerators and will help it recover from any festival bashing it might receive!

ASOS/Cheryl Cole Charity Auction

Wednesday tends to be the day that drags! Last weekend seems like an eternity ago and Friday feels like it will never come. To help cheer you up you might want to check out ASOS Marketplace where Cheryl Cole has set up shop. From the 13th to the 24th of this month the Cheryl Cole Foundation auction is running. Eleven dresses are available to bid on from the first day of the auction, with one new dress being added every weekday until the end of the auction. The auction of Cheryl's dresses is a 'Lowest Unique Bid' auction, which means that the lowest monetary amount not bid by anyone else (the lowest unique amount) wins the auction. You could win a piece of pop history for as low as 1p! Any funds raised for The Cheryl Cole Foundation will be used to help disadvantaged young people in the north east of England and also used across a number of different Prince's Trust projects in the region. There is only one day left of the auction so while you're wishing the next two days to go as quickly as possible check it out at https://marketplace.asos.com/cherylcolefoundation/collection. You might see one you'd like to bid on or maybe it will inspire what you're going to wear this weekend!

"Lifeguard Orangutan"

We here at Revolve really enjoyed the story of Jorong the orangutan in this morning's MetroHerald. A video appeared on the internet this week of the huge Jorong using a leaf to save a tiny moorhen chick from drowning in the water within his enclosure and then ensure that it was ok. Jorong has since moved on from Dublin Zoo but one of his keepers says he was always gentle with a lovely nature. We thought this was a nice feel-good story to help put you in a good mood for the day!

"Sleeplesness!"

Everyone knows that a good nights sleep is essential for a healthy mind and body. We all aim for the ideal 7 or 8 hours a night but sometimes it just doesn't happen. Stress and anxiety caused by financial worries, work or relationship problems, health concerns or exams can contribute to a night spent tossing and turning. When this becomes a regular occurance it's time to get help before it starts to affect your health.

Here are '5' tips for getting your mind and body into sleep mode:

1) Step away from the computer;
The stimulation of information from the internet will keep your mind alert and buzzing as you lie down trying to doze off. Try to limit your activity on the computer for at least an hour before bed to help switch off your mind.

2) No daytime napping;
As tempting as it can be when you're feeling the effects of last nights disasterous sleep, napping during the day will disrupt your sleeping pattern. Head to bed earlier than usual instead.

3) Exercise - but not too vigorously;
Some gentle stretching, yoga or pilates can help to slow down the body and relax the mind for sleep. Be careful though, hardcore exercise that gets the heart pumping will keep your body alert and awake for longer so take it easy.

4) Have some warm milk;
"Really?!" I hear you say! Yes it's not just an old wives tale. Warm milk contains tryptopham which, when converted to seratonin in the body, induces sleep.

5) Write down your thoughts;
Whether this is a to-do list for tomorrow or a journal of your thoughts on the day. The key is once you get to bed, if there are still thoughts flying around your head, write them down and put them to bed - After-all, the paper will still be sitting there in the morning!

Susan Boyle Film In The Works

A movie about Susan Boyle's life is in the works, with American actress Glenn Close to play the reclusive singer.
The movie will chart SuBo's incredible rise to fame, from her first performance on Britain's Got Talent through her singing for the Pope, taking America by storm and appearing on the Oprah Winfrey show.
The 'I Dreamed a Dream' singer has given her blessing for the biopic to be made but had initially wanted Scottish actress Elaine C. Smith, best known for her role in Rab C. Nesbitt, to play her. But as Susan is a bigger hit in the US than she is here in the UK and Ireland, producers wanted a Hollywood star to take the lead role.
"The film is full steam ahead now that the leading role is sorted," an insider told The Sun. "It was always going to be a tricky one to cast. Susan's incredible story is so well known across the planet that the film is bound to go down a storm".
"Glenn has played some imposing women in the past including Alex Forrest who boils the pet rabbit in Fatal Attraction. But this might just be her biggest role yet."
The movie is expected to start shooting later this year.

"Will Your Legs Slope Off?"

Get the most out of your skiing holiday with Nelsons Arnicare arnica cooling gel

Both skiing and snowboarding require a fitness level that is completely different to summer sports. Using muscles that have lain doormant for almost a year, could result in you not getting the most out of your ski or snowboarding holiday. With most trips often only lasting a week, time on the slopes is precious so why not go better prepared. A few weeks of excercise before your holiday could dramatically reduce the time spent recuperating from tired, aching legs after a full day skiing.

Should you run out of time to get fit, or if your legs aren't quite up to peak fitness then pack Nelsons Arnicare arnica cooling gel. It is ideal for massaging into aching muscles and tired, heavy legs to cool and revive them after a full day on the slopes. Made from organic Arnica montana, sourced from the Scottish Highlands, and refreshing menthol and grapefruit oil to leave your skin feeling and smelling fresh.

Nelsons Arnicare arnica cooling gel is available from all good pharmacies
& health stores nationwide
